"So you sure you'll be ok?", asked Sonic impatiently. He couldn't bear to see Tails go on a globe trotting adventure by himself. I mean, who else would do his laundry andfix his Cable TV set? No matter, he still didn't want him to go, out of the kindness of his heart, or the smell of his socks. "Ya, i'll be ok sonic", said Tails. He on the other hand was pretty excited. Just the other ,day a distress signal came out of the transmitter in the knohole Brain trust lab. Since everyone else as out going to Uncle chuck's diner, he picked up the message. To his suprise, the voice was completely un familiar. "Please, someone pickup!!!"
To that, he dropped the mint candy he was eating and ran to the transmitter. "Yes, this is Miles Prower. Tails miles prower to be exact. Whats going on!?!?". "Tails?Who are you?! Please you have to come over ASA-A-A-a-bzzt. Then the battery died. "Oh come on!!!", Tails said in anguish. He was just about to figure out who the voice belonged to. "Wait!", Tails shouted. Then he heard a 7-digit code come out of it . 3-2-5-6.. "What was that Tails?", shouted sonic. He probably went on an another adventure with sally again and just came back. She's all that he ever spends time with. None of them care.
Rotor thinks he's smarter then all of us. Bunnie and Antoine are almost together all the time. And sonic and sally have their own problems. Tails felt himself getting angrier and angrier, feeling as though he should just fly out of knothole and go somewhere else. He had some more Mint candy. Instantly, he felt better. To him, there was nothing more refreshing than the taste of Mint coolness. (Awsome to me too!!!) Anyway, he eventually made his way to the holograhic map of Mobius. He traced the call using the code that came up after the message. He eventually pinpointed the location.
"What?!?", Tails said. As he looked at the spot where he had found the messages origin, but saw nothing but ocean. "It can't be possble.", he decided. Then it hit him. "Augh, i'm such an idiot. The beam goes through the who thing.". He then turned the whole thing around. "There we go, but I still don't understand?". Tails did see something there, but it was just a landmass. There was nothing even in the databanks in it. Tails went to the shelf, at took an atlas. "Ok, now get it. It says it was australia, whatever that was, before the days of fury. Now its called "downunda". So now  need to go get Son..., NO!" Tails stood up defiantly, I can do this myself! I've had years of experience with the other freedom fighters! I can dothis on my own!" He began to leave the lab, headg to his dromitory in Freedom HQ. He got his stuff together. I'll go at night. That seems pretty logical. And since they all "hibernate" this time of year, I have at least a 2 months to go and get bak, and they'll never know! Tails put the remote for his plane under his pillow. He was to excited he could barely get any sleep.

Tails fly up over knotehole village, trying to make his way to the airplane hangar as
fast and as quietly as possible, he didn't see it, but something was moving at supe speed, going the same direction. Tails pressed the button on his remote as he neared. The hangar the tornado was in opened, and tails clambered in. He knew no one saw him, but he was still worried because of the route he took to get there. As he checked his bag, he saw a familiar blue form coe out of the shadows.

"So I hear your goingon some adventure?", sonic said smugly. Tails blushed. " Who told you?". "Actually, you did, After I heard you yelling about someplace, I stayed close to the lab door and heard every single word." Tails face was so red he looked a lot like eggmans coat, this time with anger. "Well, none of you ever cared about me. So now i'm going to save those people and theres NOTHINYOUCANDOABOUTIT!!!!" . Tails felt tears rolling out of his eyes, and turned to see the sun coming up. "Tails... I won't tell anyone, but at least let me go with you.". "I'm sorry sonic, but I have to prove myself, that I can do it!", Fine then little buddy," Sonic said, smiling with pride, but a little sympathy to. Its not that he idn't think he could do it, but that Tails didn't know what he was getting into."Get going before anyone else sees you." Tails w happy for the first time that day, and the first time that new day. As he started the plane, he gave sonic his signature Two-fingers salute. And with that , he flew away.

No one saw, but a shadowy, white figure climbed out of the shadows.
"Phase one, complete," He said, crushing the trasmitter device in his hands
